We are located at 86 Migh in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. Devi Polymers P Ltd is a place where we spend a lot of time looking at plastic pellets and molding machines. It’s a very industrial sort of life. The office is right in the middle of a busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting outside. Inside, it's usually the sound of the machines or the rhythmic thud of parts being packed into crates. The air has that distinct smell of heated polymer, which you get used to after about a week. We don't have a fancy board room. Most of our meetings happen standing up near the production floor or over a quick cup of tea in the back room. We make a lot of different plastic components that go into things people use every day. It’s not flashy work, but it is necessary. We have a small team and everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. If a machine breaks down, we are all there trying to fix it. We don't have a big marketing budget or any glossy advertisements. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the plastic is the right grade for the job. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in Hyderabad. We stay busy with the local orders and keep our heads down so we can get through the day.
