Des 9 is based out of a house in Sripuri Colony, which is in the Habsiguda area. Specifically, it's House No 12-1-508, B/39. We are located right behind the Railway Quarters, so it’s a very recognizable spot if you’re familiar with this part of town. The colony is usually quiet, which helps us focus on our work. We’ve been at this location for some time now. It’s a regular house that we’ve converted into our workspace. There’s enough room for all of us to sit and do what we need to do. We don't really have a big reception area or anything like that. When people come to see us, they usually just walk in and find us at our desks. The railway quarters nearby mean there’s a lot of greenery around, which is a nice change from the concrete of the city. We like the vibe of Habsiguda; it has everything we need within walking distance. Most of our days are pretty standard, just working through our projects and talking to each other about what needs to be finished. We aren't trying to be some massive company. We’re just a small group working from a house. Sometimes the internet acts up, or it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we manage. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We find that being in a residential colony makes the whole work environment feel a bit more relaxed and less formal than a typical office.
