Deloitte Touche Tohmats

Up on the ninth floor of Block 37, you’ll find our space. We are in the Rain Tree Park area within the Malaysian Township in Kukatpally. It’s a bit of a trek to get up to Flat 901, but once you’re here, the view of Hyderabad is actually okay. The name on the door says Deloitte Touche Tohmats, and this is where we handle the day-to-day tasks. Since it’s a residential township, it doesn't feel like a cold office building. We have the usual setup with desks squeezed into the rooms and plenty of cables running everywhere. It’s a busy place with people constantly on calls or looking at spreadsheets. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that; we just focus on the tax and consulting work that comes our way. The lift can be slow during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get to their floor at the same time. We usually have some snacks in the kitchen and the coffee machine gets a lot of use throughout the day. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or leather sofas. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big deadline, and you can see the lights of the township from the window. It’s just a normal office routine with a bunch of people trying to do their jobs well without any extra drama.
