Our office sits in the Railway New Colony at S O G Vijay Ku 43 114 C in S L Nagar. It is a bit of a long address to write out on an envelope, but it is the place where Deloitte India Consulting Ltd operates. Being near the railway tracks means there is a constant hum of activity around us, which keeps things feeling lively. The office setup itself is very basic and mostly consists of workstations and a small area for meetings. We do not have any of that fancy corporate decor you see in magazines. It is just a group of consultants working on different projects and trying to keep everything on track. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets a bit slow, but we just deal with it and keep going. The building is an older one and has a lot of character, even if it is not the most modern place in town. We do not really host visitors or have big events here, so the focus is entirely on the work at hand. Most of us have been here for a few years and have our own little routines. We start the day with some tea, talk about the tasks for the morning, and then get into the consulting work. It is a decent, quiet place to spend a workday without too many distractions from the outside world. We just keep things simple and functional here.
