Our office is located at 21 4 164 Zia Manzil in the Husaini Alam area. If you’ve spent any time in this part of the city, you know it has a lot of character and history. Zia Manzil is an older building, and being here for Deloitte Consulting Llp gives us a very different perspective than the newer office parks. The lanes around here can be narrow and pretty crowded, especially during certain times of the day, so getting to the office is always a bit of an adventure. Inside, we have a straightforward setup. It’s not a big open-plan space with bean bags or anything like that. Instead, it’s a series of rooms where we’ve set up our workstations and files. We spend a lot of our time on our computers, dealing with the usual consulting paperwork and client needs. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the street noise, but we just shut the windows and keep going. We don't have a big HR department on site or a fancy cafeteria; we usually just order something in or bring a tiffin. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment where we focus on the task at hand. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished; we’re just a group of people working in an old building in a historic neighborhood, doing our best to stay organized and meet our targets every week. It’s a unique place to be for sure, and we’ve gotten used to the hustle and bustle.
