Deccan Bazar

Deccan Bazar is located at 1-9-18 in Ram Nagar, right near the Ratan Cafe. If you are from around here, you know exactly where that is. We are in a busy spot, and the noise from the cafe and the traffic on the street is something we hear all day long. The shop itself is pretty small and we have shelves crammed with all sorts of things. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we generally know where everything is tucked away. We don't have any of that corporate polish. There are no fancy uniforms or scripted greetings when you walk in. It’s just us, usually behind the counter or trying to find space for a new delivery. The lighting is a bit dim in the back and the floor is made of old tiles that have seen a lot of feet over the years. We don't spend money on advertising or big promotions. Most of our customers are people who live nearby and stop in while they are out running errands. We like the local feel of the place. It’s nice to chat with the regulars about the weather or the local news while we ring up their items. We don't have any big plans to expand or become a chain. We are just a local shop in Ram Nagar, doing our thing day after day. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we appreciate everyone who stops by.
