Data Entry Operator

This work happens right in Ganganapalli, which is a small village in the Pendlimarri area of Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Being a Data Entry Operator out here means things are a bit slower than in the big cities, but that suits me just fine. I run this from my home because there isn't a big office building for miles. My setup is pretty basic, just a reliable computer and a desk by the window where I can see the goats passing by. I do a lot of work for local offices and people who need their records digitized but don't have the time to do it themselves. It's a lot of sitting and typing, but I find it relaxing in a way. The power can be a bit tricky sometimes, especially during the monsoon, so I've learned to save my work every few minutes. My neighbors often stop by to see what I'm up to, as having a computer business in the village is still a bit of a novelty to some. I don't use any flashy words to describe what I do. I just take what's on the paper and put it into the computer. It takes a steady hand and a lot of focus. I’m proud to be doing this from my own village, helping out where I can. It’s simple, practical, and it's what I know how to do best.
