Data Bases

We have a bit of a spread-out situation because we are listed with Thailand and India. It sounds like a lot, but really it just means we deal with data across these regions. Currently, our main focus is on databases, which is just a way of saying we manage lists and information for people. It’s not glamorous work. You’re usually looking at a screen and checking for errors or making sure the backups are running properly. Being tied to both Thailand and India gives us a bit of a different perspective, though we aren't some giant international firm. We’re more of a small setup that happened to find work in these different places. We don't have a fancy headquarters with a glass front. Most of the time, we’re just working from where we are, keeping the records straight and the systems running. It’s been an interesting way to work. Some days we are dealing with things from one side, and other days it’s the other. We don’t overthink it. As long as the databases are working and the information is secure, we’ve done our job for the day. It’s a lot of routine stuff, checking logs and fixing small glitches before they become big ones. We just keep moving forward and doing the basic tasks that keep everything else functioning.
