Dal Mill

We've been here at Dal Mill on Shankarpalli Road in Janwada for quite some time now. Most people know the spot at 5-3/267 because of the constant noise and the dust that comes with milling. It isn't a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done every day. The morning starts early here before the sun is even fully up. We handle the pulses and the machines can be a bit loud, especially when we have a lot to get through. It’s just how things are around here. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets backed up, but we just keep working inside. Janwada is a quiet enough place overall, but our corner stays busy. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It’s mostly just the equipment and the bags stacked up. People stop by when they need something, and we talk for a bit then get back to it. It’s been this way since the start. There isn't much to say other than we are a part of the local scene. We see the same faces passing by on Shankarpalli Road every afternoon. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy near the entrance, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything big or special. We just run the Dal Mill and try to keep everything moving. It’s a lot of manual work and making sure the machines don't act up. That's about it for us.
