Contract Engineer In Aeronautics

Our office is tucked away in Shahgung, inside H. No Dewdi Khursheed Jah. It’s an old part of Hyderabad with a lot of history around it. We focus on aeronautics, which basically means we deal with airplane parts and systems on a contract basis. It sounds more complicated than it is once you get into the daily routine of it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s a smaller operation. Most of the time, we are busy looking at technical manuals or coordinating with suppliers. The building we are in has a lot of character, even if it’s a bit cramped sometimes. Working in aeronautics means you have to be careful about the details. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know where we are. It’s not a shiny new glass building. It’s a real place where work happens every day. Sometimes we have to travel to different sites, but this is where we do all the planning. We get a lot of paperwork because the aviation industry is like that. You can't just fix something without signing ten forms first. We handle all that side of the engineering. People in the trade know how to find us. We don't really do much talking about what we do, we just get on with the lists of tasks. It’s steady work. We keep the files organized as best as we can and try to stay on top of things.
