Our place is in East Marredpally at Flat No 401 in the Pragathi Residency. It is on Street Number 9 in Secunderabad. It’s a residential area mostly, so it stays fairly calm compared to the main market areas. The building is a typical apartment structure where we have our office space set up on the fourth floor. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We’ve been working out of this flat for some time now. There is enough space for our files and a few computers. We usually have the balcony door open to let some air in, though it gets dusty. You can see the rooftops of the other houses from up here. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. Secunderabad 500026 is the area code if you’re looking it up. It’s a nice enough spot. There’s a small grocery store nearby where we get our biscuits and coffee. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just come in and we talk at the main table. It’s a practical setup for the kind of consulting services we do. Most of our day is spent answering emails or looking over documents. It’s a steady pace here. We like the light that comes in through the front windows in the afternoon and the way the street looks when it rains.
