The address we have listed looks a bit messy, but we are a real group of people working together. We aren't really concerned with having a perfect storefront or a big polished image. We just set up where we could and started working. It’s a bit of a makeshift situation, to be honest. We have some desks pushed together and a few shelves that we put up ourselves. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a magazine, but it’s where we get everything done. Most days, we are just dressed in casual clothes, drinking too much tea and trying to get through our to-do lists. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big ads. We figure if we just do our work and keep things simple, that’s enough. The area around us is pretty quiet, which we like. There aren't many people coming by, so we can just focus on what’s in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out or the water heater acts up, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We’ve been at this for a while now and we’ve learned that you don't need a lot of bells and whistles to run a business. Just some decent people who are willing to put in the time and a place to sit. It’s not elegant, but it is real and it works for us.
