Computer Operator

You can find me over at 49-B on the GPRA Campus in Gachibowli. Being in Hyderabad, especially this part of it, you’d think everything would be high-tech and fancy, but my setup is actually pretty basic. I’m just a computer operator working from this spot. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing away while the fans hum in the background. It gets pretty hot in Hyderabad, so I usually have the fan on full blast while I work. The GPRA Campus is a nice area, relatively quiet compared to the main roads. I mostly handle things for the people living nearby or working in the local offices. It’s a lot of data entry, checking spreadsheets, and making sure the files are saved where they belong. I don't have any big staff or fancy reception area. It’s just a practical space where work gets done. Sometimes I lose track of time when I’m deep into a project. The coffee here is okay, but I usually bring my own from home. It’s a simple life, honestly. I don’t try to be anything I’m not. I just know how to handle a computer and I use that to help out whoever comes by. It’s been my routine for a long time now and I’m quite settled into it. I've been in this campus area for a while now and I’ve seen it change quite a bit, though my little room stays pretty much the same. It’s got a specific smell of old electronics and paper, which I’ve grown to like over the years.
