Colours India

Colours India is located near the Model House on Sai Baba Temple Road. We’re right in the middle of the Punjaguttan area. It's a very crowded part of town, but we’ve grown to like it here. We deal with all sorts of paints and pigments. There are cans stacked up everywhere you look. Sometimes the floor has bright spots of color from where things spilled over the years. We try our best to match colors for people who come in with a scrap of old fabric or a piece of painted wood. It's not always a perfect match, but we get pretty close. We've been in this spot for a long time. The shop is small and the shelves go all the way to the ceiling. I have to use a shaky ladder almost every hour to get things down. It’s a bit dusty, and the smell of fresh paint is always in the air. We don't have an air conditioner, just a single ceiling fan that squeaks when it's on high. People come in and end up chatting for a while; it's just that kind of neighborhood place. We don't do any fancy advertising or social media. We just put a hand-painted sign out front. Sometimes the temple nearby gets very busy during festivals and the road gets blocked. We just take it easy on those days. We aren't a big chain store. We’re just a local shop trying to help neighbors.
