Our office is located at F 5 in Skanda Enclave, right on Nizampet Road in Kukatpally, Hyderabad 500072. If you know this part of Hyderabad, you know how busy Nizampet Road can get at almost any time of the day. Skanda Enclave is one of those buildings that stays right in the middle of all that energy. We are in unit F 5. It’s a modest space, not some high-rise office with a lobby and security guards. We just unlock the door in the morning and get started with our work at Cognizant. The traffic noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. Sometimes it’s actually nice to see so much life right outside the door. Inside, things are pretty quiet. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us, not according to some corporate manual. The walls are mostly bare, and we like it that way because it keeps things simple. Getting to Kukatpally can be a challenge with the metro construction and the usual city rush, but we are all used to the commute by now. We usually grab lunch from one of the many small places along the road. It’s a practical place to work, and being in a residential-commercial mix like this keeps us grounded. We’re just local people doing our jobs in a familiar neighborhood without any fuss or complicated rules.
