Our business, Chirra Jayalaxmareddy Foods, is located right on the Main Road in Kondapur. The address is 4-18-79. It’s a very busy area with cars and bikes going past all the time. We have been here for a good number of years. The building is right in the middle of everything. We spend our days processing food and managing the stock we have. It’s a lot of manual work, moving sacks around and making sure things are stored properly. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a practical workspace. We have a few people working in the back and a small area for visitors in the front. Kondapur has changed a lot since we started but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We start early in the morning to get ahead of the heat. Most of our work involves checking the orders and making sure the quality is what it should be. We aren't trying to be a giant company. We just want to do our work well and keep the business going. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but that’s just how it is. We talk to the local vendors and people who stop by. It’s a humble place and we are just regular people working hard. We don't use big words or fancy talk, we just focus on the food.
