Chennakesava Engineerings

Chennakesava Engineerings is tucked away on Road No 06 in Shobhana Colony over in Balanagar. It’s more of a workshop than anything else and it feels like it. We have machines and tools scattered around on the benches and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. There is always the smell of oil and cut metal in the air which you get used to after a couple of days. We spend our time fixing parts and working on different engineering bits that people bring in. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking things to make sure they fit right. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the sounds coming from our shop and a few other small businesses nearby. We have a small window that lets in a bit of natural light but we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street and we take a break sitting on some old crates. It’s a simple life of working with your hands and making sure the machines keep running. We don't have any fancy signage or a big lobby for people to wait in. Most of the folks who come here just walk straight back to where we are working. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in Balanagar every single day.
