Charminar Foods And Exports is out at 5-29/8 in Shareef Nagar, along the R C I Road in Venkatapur. It’s a bit of a trek from the main part of Ranga Reddy, but we like it out here because there’s a bit more space for the trucks. The facility is basically a big warehouse with some office rooms attached to the front. We deal with exports, so there are always containers being loaded or unloaded throughout the day. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the labels are all correct so things don't get stuck at the customs. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers everywhere and people coming in and out from the loading docks. We don't really have a dress code; people just wear whatever is comfortable for moving around. The sun gets really strong out here, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning. We have a small kitchen area where we eat lunch together, usually just sharing whatever people brought from home. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just work together to make sure the food products are packed right and nothing goes to waste. It’s a lot of long hours, but we’ve got a good crew that’s been here for a long time. The ceiling fan in the office wobbles a bit, but it still works.
