Lalitha Fashions

Chanda Nagar is always busy, especially near the water tank where we are. Our shop is at 6-47/8 and it stays pretty crowded most evenings. We started Lalitha Fashions because people around here needed a place to find everyday clothes. It is not a very big space, but we pack it with as much as possible. Usually, you will find one of us sorting through new arrivals or helping someone find a specific size. Sometimes the fans don't work as well as they should when it gets really hot in the afternoon. We try to keep things organized but on busy days, piles of fabric end up on the counter. Most of our neighbors stop by just to say hello even if they are not buying anything. The water tank is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find the lane. We’ve been here for a while now and seen the street change quite a bit. It used to be much quieter. Now there are more scooters parked outside than we have room for. Dealing with the suppliers takes up a lot of my morning. We check everything by hand before putting it on the racks. It is a lot of folding and unfolding honestly. We just want people to get what they need without any fuss. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, but it makes the place feel warm. We close up around eight most nights.
