This office is located over in Punjagutta, right in Durganagar Colony. You have to go up to the third floor at Plot No 6 to find us. We share the space, or rather we're listed with Mr S Baba Fakruddin Baig. The Center For Monitoring Indian Economy is really about looking at data and numbers related to how things are going in the country. It sounds a bit dry, but someone has to do it. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and spreadsheets here in Hyderabad. The neighborhood is fairly active, so there’s always something going on outside. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and it suits what we need. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the computers and a few desks. People usually come to us when they need specific info about the economy or markets. We don't have a big reception area or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a workspace. Working on the third floor gives us a bit of a view, though mostly it’s just other buildings. It gets hot in Hyderabad, but we have the fans going. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of it all. There is plenty of work to go around with the way the markets move. We just keep at it.
