Catalytic Software

Catalytic Software is out in New Oroville, situated near Pahadi Shareef. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which makes it a different kind of place to work. The surroundings are a bit more open and less cramped than the middle of town. We have our office set up here and it suits us just fine. It’s a quiet spot most days. We don’t have a lot of visitors, so we just focus on the software work we have on our plates. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we can set up our computers and get things done. We’ve got a small team and we’ve all been working together for a while. We share the daily tasks and sometimes have lunch together outside when the weather is okay. We don't use any flashy language to describe ourselves. We are just people who know how to build and work with software. Being near Pahadi Shareef gives us a bit of a landmark to tell people where we are. It’s a simple setup. We have desks, chairs, and enough tea to keep us going through the afternoon. We don’t really follow a strict corporate dress code or have formal meetings every hour. We just talk about what needs doing and then we do it. It’s an honest way to work. We like the peace of New Oroville compared to the city.
