Carmel Systems Inc. is located up on the sixth floor of Ramu Towers, specifically in office 607. The building is at 10-2-6 in the A.C. Guards area of Masab Tank. It is a very busy part of the city, and the traffic at the Masab Tank junction can be a real headache during rush hour. Looking out from our windows on the sixth floor, you can see the cars crawling along below, which makes you glad you are already inside. The building itself has been around for a while, and the elevators can be a bit slow some mornings when everyone is trying to get to their offices at once. Our space is quite compact. We have several desks squeezed in, and there are always stacks of manuals and papers piled up in the corners. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s just where we sit and do our tasks. The air conditioning works most of the time, though it struggles a bit when the Hyderabad sun is really beating down on the glass. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that is usually the center of all the office gossip. People come and go throughout the day, and because we are in a multi-tenant tower, we often run into folks from other companies in the hallways. It’s a typical office life, really. We focus on our computers, answer the phones when they ring, and try to get everything finished before the evening traffic gets too bad.
