Building Material Trader

We run our trading business from Flat 306 in Greenland Towers, over in Begumpet. It’s a bit of an older building, but it’s right in the middle of everything. Building Material Trader isn't a shop where you walk in and browse shelves. It’s more of an office where we handle the paperwork and the phone calls for larger orders. We have samples of tiles and hardware scattered around the room, which makes it a bit hard to walk sometimes. The elevators in Greenland Towers can be a bit slow, so we usually take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. It’s a noisy area with all the traffic from the main road, but once you’re inside the flat, it’s relatively quiet. We spend most of our day on the phone talking to suppliers and site managers. There isn't a big corporate team here, just a few of us sitting at desks trying to keep track of deliveries. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up and we stay late to finish it. We aren't a big fancy company with a lobby or a receptionist. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We’ve been in Begumpet for a long time and we like the convenience of being central. Slick sales pitches aren't really our thing. We just tell people the prices and when the materials can arrive. It’s a basic business and that’s how we like it.
