Operating out of an apartment on the third floor of the Laxmi Samskruthi building, our unit is T4. Being in an apartment complex makes the whole place feel a lot more like a home than a regular office. Stairs are fine for a bit of exercise, but the elevator is definitely better when the weather gets hot in the summer. Coordinating different things and communicating across various channels takes up most of the day. A couple of large desks are set up in the main living room area. Things get a little bit loud in here when everyone is talking on their phones at the same time. Balcony windows are usually left open to get a bit of a breeze going through the rooms. The neighbors are mostly families with kids, so keeping our noise down once the evening comes around is a priority. This is a very practical setup for the kind of work we do. Massive warehouses or expensive things aren’t needed. Just some reliable phone lines and a steady internet connection are enough for us to stay busy. This location has suited our needs for quite some time now. We usually take turns making tea in the small kitchen. It’s a simple way to run a business without any extra fuss or unnecessary overhead costs.
