Sitting at 90 A in Avanthi Nagar, our office is part of the Thota Mothi Nagar area in Hyderabad. It’s a small place that’s tucked away a bit, so looking for the number 18 zone sign is necessary to find us. Whole days are spent talking to different people and looking through big stacks of papers and resumes. Phone calls and personal interviews happen here from morning to night. Sometimes the small waiting room gets a bit crowded when too many people show up at the same time for their appointments. No big corporate lobby or receptionist exists here, just a few plastic chairs and a wooden table. Being a local business through and through is something we enjoy. This neighborhood is familiar to us and being part of the community here in Hyderabad feels right. The sun hits our front window really hard in the afternoons, so the old blinds are usually kept pulled down to stay cool. Just a handful of us work in this space, trying to help people find decent jobs. Fancy new software isn’t used for everything we do. Sometimes a simple notebook and a blue pen work much better for keeping track of things. Many folks have come through these doors over the years looking for a start. We just talk to them and see what can be done. It’s basic work but it keeps us busy and the office is always full of activity.
