J C Engineering Works

We are located at H No 7/4/14/3/1 in Ferozguda, which is pretty close to Bowenpally. The workshop is a bit hard to find if you aren't looking for it, tucked away in the lanes. It’s a simple engineering shop where we fix stuff and make parts. There’s always a pile of scrap metal near the door and the smell of cutting fluid in the air. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around the tools. My clothes are usually ruined by the end of the week because of the grease. We don't use any fancy marketing or have a website. People usually find us because a friend told them we could fix a broken shaft or weld a bracket. The roof is made of corrugated sheets and it gets really loud when it rains. We have an old radio that plays local stations, but half the time you can’t hear it over the grinders. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy pieces of iron and standing on your feet all day. We take a break in the afternoon for tea at the stall down the road. It’s a good way to catch our breath. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Hyderabad, just a place that does the work right. The benches are cluttered with wrenches and bolts, but we know where everything is.
