Bonsai

Our place is located behind the Hanuman Temple in Ameerpet, specifically at Kajavenkatarao 7 1 550 1. Being right behind the temple means we hear the bells ringing throughout the day, which is actually quite nice and keeps us on track. Ameerpet is a very busy part of Hyderabad, but our little spot, Bonsai, is tucked back a bit from the main chaos. The lane is narrow, so it is usually better to walk than try to drive a big car in here. Our shop is simple. We don't have big neon signs or anything like that. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and a counter where we handle everything. We’ve been here for a while, and the locals know us well. We start our day early, sweeping the front and getting things ready. It gets quite crowded in this area with students and office workers, so there is always a lot of energy nearby. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The walls are a bit plain, and we have a few old chairs if someone needs to sit down for a minute. It is a practical place, and we don't spend much time worrying about how it looks to outsiders. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure we take care of whatever comes our way. Living and working in Ameerpet has its challenges, but being near the temple gives the place a very good feeling every single day.
