Our office is tucked away in Flat 4 of the Ganga Apartments, right there in Prakash Nagar. Begumpet is a crowded part of Hyderabad, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge with all the traffic on the main road. The apartment building itself is a normal residential block, which is why it feels a little strange to be doing gas turbine service work from here. We have transformed the rooms into working spaces with computers and a lot of paperwork regarding the GE systems we handle. It is a bit tight when we have everyone in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. The address is 1 10 27 7 4, which sounds complicated, but once you find Ganga Apartments, it is easy enough to spot us. We don't have a lobby or anything like that, just the front door of the flat. Usually, someone is on the phone talking about technical specs or coordinating with a site somewhere else. The kitchen in the flat is where most of the socializing happens over quick meals and tea. It is a practical setup for what we do. Outside, you can hear the hum of the city, but inside we are just focused on getting the daily tasks sorted out. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors because it's a residential building, but we’ve all become friends with the people living next door. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but it gets the job done for us.
