Our office is up on the sixth floor of the Reliance Majestic Building in Banjara Hills. It’s a busy spot, 626 to be exact. It’s a bit strange being in a nice building like this when you’re dealing with cement, but that’s where the paperwork happens. Downstairs is all glass and polished floors, but if you come into our room, you might see some fine grey dust on the files. We spend a lot of time on the phone with sites and drivers. Banjara Hills gets a lot of traffic, so getting to the office can be a bit of a crawl in the mornings. There’s always tea being passed around while we check the delivery schedules. It isn't a quiet place. Someone is always shouting over a bad mobile connection to a foreman at a construction site. We handle the numbers and the logistics mostly. The view from the window is good, but we don't look out of it much because there are always more invoices to go through. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the security guys know us well. It’s just the daily grind of making sure the bags get to where they need to go without too many delays. Sometimes the lift breaks and we have to walk up, which isn't fun, but we get it done. It's just regular work for us. There is always a stack of new orders waiting every Monday morning.
