Bhagyasri Rice Trading

Being located right here in Ghandhi Nagar keeps us pretty busy most days of the week. We are in Manemma Enclave, specifically at 1-1-380/D, which is right across from the women’s hostel. If you know where Jagadamba Nursing Home is, we are just beside it. It is a crowded little corner of Jawahar Nagar, so there is always someone walking by or a rickshaw pulling up. We deal with rice all day, so you will see the bags stacked up high inside. The smell of raw rice is something you just get used to after a while. We spend a lot of time checking the grains and talking to the people who come in to buy for their homes or shops. It gets quite hectic when the new stock arrives and we have to move everything around to make room. The street outside can be a bit of a mess with traffic, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We have been here for a while and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The nursing home next door always has people coming and going, so we never feel lonely here. We don't use any fancy systems, just a pen and a notebook usually. It is a straightforward way of working that seems to suit us just fine. If you need us, we are usually there by the stacks of rice near the door, just doing the daily inventory.
