Avalon Software Services (India) Pvt. Ltd. operates out of the Space More Business Centre on Road No. 2 in Banjara Hills. Our specific spot is 8-2-269/A, B-2, on the second floor. Banjara Hills is a nice area, though Road No. 2 can get incredibly busy during the morning rush. The business centre setup is quite handy because it handles some of the building maintenance stuff, leaving us to focus on the software side of things. Our office is basically a room full of computers and some very tired-looking chairs. We do a lot of coding and troubleshooting, so it’s usually pretty quiet except for the sound of typing. We aren't the type of company that has a ping-pong table or a beanbag room. We just have our desks and a small area to make some instant coffee. Sometimes the projects get a bit stressful and we end up staying later than we intended, but that’s the nature of software work. We’ve got a mix of experienced developers and some younger folks who are still learning the ropes. We don't put on any airs; we just try to write decent code and meet our deadlines. The business center has other companies too, so you see different people in the hallways and the shared lobby. It’s a good enough place to spend the day, and we’re close to plenty of shops if we need anything. Most of us just take the bus or ride bikes to get in.
