Art Guru

Art Guru is tucked away at Plot No. 1 on Road No. 3. We are right opposite the Times of India office and very close to Chutneys in Banjara Hills. It’s a pretty busy part of town, but our shop feels a bit different once you step inside. We deal with all kinds of art materials—paints, brushes, canvases, and things like that. I’ve always liked being around creative stuff, even if I’m not the best artist myself. We get all sorts of people coming in, from professional painters to kids who just want some crayons. Sometimes people just come in to look around and talk about their projects. I don't mind it. The shelves are usually a bit disorganized because people are always moving things around to see the colors. Banjara Hills is a nice place for a shop like this, even if the traffic on Road No. 3 can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been here for a while and most of the regulars know us by name. We don't have any fancy displays; it's just a lot of supplies piled up. It feels more like a workshop than a store sometimes. I like the smell of the oil paints and the quiet mornings before the lunch rush starts at the restaurants nearby. It’s just our little corner where we help people find what they need for their art.
