Tailor Bird

If you go down Road No 9 in Banjara Hills, near Sr Sports, you will find us at Plot No 15. The shop is called Tailor Bird. It is not a huge place, but it stays pretty busy with all the stitching and measuring. We have sewing machines going most of the day, and there are always scraps of fabric on the floor. People bring in different materials, and we spend time getting the fit right for them. It is detailed work, and sometimes my eyes get tired by the end of the day from looking at the stitches. We have stacks of thread in every color you can think of. It is a bit crowded inside with all the clothes waiting to be picked up by customers. Banjara Hills is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street outside our door. We just stay focused on the needles and the fabric. Sometimes a customer wants something specific and we have to figure out how to make it work. We have been at this location for a while. It is a simple setup with a few tables and the machines. We do not do a lot of talking, mostly just measuring and sewing. It is an honest way to make a living, and it is nice to see someone happy with how their clothes turned out. That is our daily routine here at the shop.
