Penna Cement Industries

We are located at Plot No 705, Lakshmi Nivas, which is right on Road No 3 in Banjara Hills. Being in the cement business means we are always thinking about construction and big projects. Penna Cement Industries has been around for a long while, and our office here is usually humming with the sound of people talking to distributors. Banjara Hills is a busy area, and sometimes the noise from the road makes it hard to hear on the phone. We spend our time tracking where the bags are going and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't fall apart. It’s a lot of coordination between the plants and the people who actually need the material on their sites. We aren’t doing the heavy lifting here in the office, but we are definitely doing the thinking to keep things moving. There are piles of ledgers and maps of routes on the walls. We get visitors coming in all day, from contractors to truck drivers looking for paperwork. It can get a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just work through it. It’s a steady kind of job, mostly focused on the practical side of building things. We keep the tea kettle going and just try to stay on top of the orders. There isn't much more to it than making sure the cement gets where it is supposed to go.
