Balchand Agarwal

Being in Banjara Hills is nice, but it can be loud with all the traffic on Road No. 2. Balchand Agarwal is the name on the door at 93-A, Sagar Society. We’ve been in Street No-8 for quite some years. The building is older, but it works for us. I spend most of my day answering the phone and checking ledgers. It's a small space, filled with files and a few old computers. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask about some business matter. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Hyderabad. We just do our work and go home. Street No-8 is actually a bit quieter than the main road, which is a relief. My father used to say that a good location is half the battle, and I guess he was right. The neighbors are mostly other small offices or families. We have a small porch where we keep a few plants, but they don't grow too well in the summer heat. Inside, it's usually cool enough though. We keep the fans running all day. It’s not a shiny office with glass walls or anything. It’s just Balchand Agarwal’s place. We do our bits, handle the accounts, and keep things moving along. There's always coffee in the morning and a bit of a rush before we close up for the evening. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out.
