You can find Spear Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. over at Plot No 36 in the Svcie Phase Ii area of Balanagar. Despite the long name, we’re a fairly small team working out of this unit. We do a lot of technical work, mostly involving engineering parts and some design for local clients. The office is right next to the workshop, so you can hear everything going on through the walls. It’s not a quiet place. There are always blueprints lying around and someone is usually arguing about a measurement or a fit. Balanagar is a real hub for this kind of work, so we’re surrounded by similar businesses and the noise that comes with them. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist to greet people. Usually, if the bell rings, one of the engineers just wipes their hands and goes to see who it is. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor checking on the progress of different projects. It gets busy and things can get a bit disorganized when we have multiple orders going at once. We don't use much corporate talk here. We just focus on solving the mechanical problems that come our way. Sometimes a project takes longer than we thought, and we end up staying late into the night. It's just part of the job. We've been at this location for a while now and we know most of the other shops on our street.
