Hyderabad is a busy place, and Malkajgiri has its own rhythm, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We spend a lot of our time out at sites or looking over plans on the big table in the living room area we use as an office. It’s not a corporate glass building or anything like that. It’s an apartment where we keep our tools, maps, and all the files for the contracting work we do. Most of the guys on the team have been in construction or engineering around here for a long time. We know which suppliers are reliable and which roads get flooded when it rains. The apartment gets a bit crowded when everyone comes in for the morning meeting, but we make it work. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs with all our gear. That’s just part of being a local business in this part of town. We handle the paperwork, deal with the labor, and try to finish the projects we started. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes.
