Emas Engineers & Contractors Pvt. Ltd.,India is tucked away in Srinidhi Apartments in Secunderabad. We’re on the third floor, Flat 302, which is a bit different from having a big yard for equipment, but it works for our planning and admin side. Old Vasavinagar is a quiet enough spot until we start moving trucks around Karkhana. Most of our day is spent looking at technical drawings or talking to clients about their site requirements. We have a few guys who are always out in the field, while a couple of us stay back to manage the accounts and the permits. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the internet goes out right when we’re trying to send a big file, and we just have to wait it out. That’s just life in Secunderabad. We handle various engineering contracts, mostly local stuff where we can get to the site quickly. The apartment office gets a bit cramped when the whole team is in for a meeting, but we make do. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know which vendors are reliable and which ones will make us wait. It’s practical work. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do; we just look at the site, figure out the engineering, and get the contractors moving. It’s about getting the levels right and making sure the structure stands up to the weather. We prefer to let the finished buildings speak for themselves.
