Revathi Engineering is based out of Plot 50/A in Phase II of the SVCIE area in Balanagar. It’s an industrial estate, so there are a lot of workshops and manufacturing units all around us. We do a lot of general engineering work here. Our shop floor has several machines that have been with us for years. They aren't the newest models, but they still work well and get the job done. The smell of oil and metal is pretty much everywhere in our building. We have a small team of workers who have been doing this for a long time. They know how to handle the tools and the materials. Balanagar is a busy hub, and we are right in the mix of it. We don't have a big corporate office; our office is just a small room partitioned off from the main workshop. It gets noisy when the machines are running, but we are used to it. We take on various jobs, from small parts to larger assemblies. Sometimes the raw materials are late in arriving, which throws our schedule off, but we try to catch up. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the drawings and tell people what we can do. It’s straightforward work for people who need engineering solutions without a lot of fuss. We are just a local engineering shop doing our best to keep the machines running and the orders moving.
