We are located at 6-3-354/16 in Hindi Nagar Colony, which is just behind the Palem Leathers building in Panjagutta. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren’t from the neighborhood, but once you’re in the colony, it’s a lot more peaceful than the main highway. The play school is basically a small building where we’ve set up some space for the younger kids to spend their mornings. We have some basic swings and a few plastic toys in the corner. Most of the families who send their children here live within walking distance, so we see the same faces every day at the gate. It’s a simple life. We spend the hours helping the kids with their coloring or showing them how to share their toys without fighting. The rooms have fans that stay on all day because it gets stuffy quite fast. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. We know which kid likes their crusts cut off and who needs a bit of extra help during nap time. There isn't any fancy philosophy behind what we do. We just provide a safe spot for the children to be while their parents are busy. It’s a plain, honest little school that serves the folks living in and around Hindi Nagar. We just keep things moving one day at a time.
