A.V.U . Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has its workshop out in Bahadurpally, specifically Survey No 53. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, located in the Quthbullapur Mandal area. We’ve been set up here for some time now. R.R. District is where we do most of our business. It's an industrial kind of place, so you hear trucks moving around all day. The building itself is quite plain. We focus on engineering work and don't worry too much about how the place looks. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or take bikes to get here. It’s a practical setup. We deal with various mechanical projects and maintenance jobs that come our way. The weather can be a bit harsh out here, especially in the summer months, but the shed stays relatively cool thanks to some old fans we keep running. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how things are in this part of the district. We keep the machines running as much as possible. It’s not a huge operation, but we have enough space for the equipment we use. Visitors usually find us by asking around at the local shops if they get lost on the way to Bahadur Palli. We just focus on the drawings and the metalwork. It’s a way to earn a living without any big city stress. There is a small tea stall near the corner where we go for breaks.
