The traffic on Pipeline Road can be a real mess during the rush hours. Our office is just one of many in this area. It’s a practical space. We have the usual desks, some filing cabinets that probably need a good cleaning, and a small area for tea. It’s a pharmaceutical company, so there’s a lot of talk about regulations and shipments. But here in this specific office, it’s mostly about the daily grind. We deal with a lot of phone calls and emails. The building is okay, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just people working. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We’ve got a view of the road, so we can see the weather changing or the traffic jams building up. It’s a standard workspace. We don’t have a fancy cafeteria, so most of us bring lunch from home and eat at our desks. It’s been our base for a good while. People come and go, but the work stays the same.
