At Gland Pharma Ltd., things are usually pretty quiet compared to the street outside. Our office is Flat No 201, located at 6/3/865/1/2. It is a bit of a maze finding the right door if you haven't been here before. We spend a lot of time at our desks dealing with files and checking on shipments. Since we are in an apartment style setup, it doesn’t feel like a typical factory or anything like that. It’s more about the administrative side of things. We have a small kitchen area where someone is almost always making coffee or heating up lunch. The walls are mostly covered in shelves full of folders and old records. We don't have a lot of walk-in visitors, which is fine because it lets us focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to walk up the stairs, which isn't great in the heat. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do, talking to suppliers and making sure everything matches up with the regulations. It’s a lot of screen time and phone calls. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the building. It’s not a fancy place with marble floors, just a functional space where we get the day’s work finished. We usually pack up around six and head home.
