Astride Info Systems Private Limited is tucked away in an apartment building called Brick Vasantham. Specifically, we are in Flat No 104 in Sudarshan Nagar. It is a bit different from those big glass office towers you see in other parts of Hyderabad. We like it this way though, it’s more relaxed and feels a bit more like a home. Since we are in the Rangareddy District, it’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but the area is growing fast and there are always new things happening nearby. Inside the flat, we have set up our computers and servers as best as we could. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. Sometimes the internet acts up, or we have to move boxes of hardware around to make space for a new desk. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We usually just wear casual clothes and drink a lot of coffee while we work on various tech projects. People sometimes get confused finding the right building because there are a few similar ones nearby, but once they find us, they see we are just a small team working hard. Being in a residential block means we have to be mindful of our neighbors, so we keep things fairly quiet. We have our routines and we stick to them, making sure the work for the business gets done without much fuss. It is a practical setup for the kind of stuff we do here in Sudarshan Nagar.
