We are tucked away at H. No. 36A in Vv Nagar, over in the Borabanda area. It is a busy part of town and we fit right in with the other small shops. Most of our day is spent working with fabric and thread. It is very detailed work, so it can be a bit hard on the eyes after several hours of focusing on small patterns. There are just a few of us here who know how to run the machines and do the handwork. People bring in their clothes or pieces of material and tell us what they have in mind. We do our best to get it right. Sometimes the thread breaks or a color doesn't look the same once it is finished, so we have to go back and fix it. Our shop isn't a fancy place; it is a workspace where things actually get made. The street outside is always noisy with people and motorbikes going by. We have been here in Allahpur for a good while, and most of our customers are just neighbors from around Balajinagar. We don't spend any money on advertising because people just find us by walking past. We take a lot of satisfaction in finishing a job and seeing the customer take it home. The shop is small and full of different colored spools everywhere. It is just a regular local business doing its thing.
