Ascent Elevator Engineering

You can find us at Ascent Elevator Engineering over in Kukatpally, specifically at 201, Sai Nest in Bagh Ameer. It is a residential-looking area but there are a lot of small offices like ours around here. We work on elevators, which means we spend a lot of our time out at different buildings rather than just sitting in the office. The space at Sai Nest is mostly for our paperwork, keeping some spare parts, and taking calls from people whose lifts are not working right. Kukatpally is always crowded and noisy, but our little corner in Bagh Ameer is slightly tucked away. We have been doing this for a few years now. It is mostly technical stuff, fixing pulleys, checking sensors, and making sure the doors slide like they should. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of workers. It is just a handful of us who know the mechanics of these machines. Often, our desks are covered in grease or small metal bits we have brought back from a job site. We eat lunch together when we are all in the office at the same time. The stairs up to our place are a bit steep, which is funny considering we work on elevators all day. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the repairs done so people do not have to take the stairs in their own buildings. It is a steady job and we like the neighborhood a lot.
