I work in the customer care department for DTDC Courier and Cargo, specifically at our location in LBS Nagar, Kurnool. You can find us at House Number 64-43-L-14, near Gindrani D.O. Gbeesanna. It’s a busy little spot in Andhra Pradesh where we deal with packages and people all day long. My role is pretty basic: I answer the phones and talk to people who walk in the door wondering where their stuff is. Sometimes a box gets delayed, or a label gets torn, and I have to figure out what happened to it. It’s not always easy, especially when someone is in a hurry, but I do my best to sort things out. The office isn't anything special. It’s got that smell of cardboard and tape that you’d expect from a courier place. We have a lot of regular customers from the neighborhood who come by to send things to relatives or for their small businesses. I’ve worked here for a bit now, so I know the regulars by name. The weather in Kurnool can get really hot, so we usually have a fan going full blast while we work at our desks. It’s a lot of typing into the computer and checking tracking numbers. We aren't a huge operation here, just a small team trying to keep the deliveries moving. It’s steady work and keeps me on my toes, which is fine by me. Most people just want their things delivered safely, and we try to make that happen without any drama.
