Our shop, Artisans Gold And Silver Jewellery Park, is at C6 in the Sea Surf Apartment. Being on Plot No 8 in the Dutchhouse Layout means we are right beside the YSR statue. Beach Road is always busy but we like it here. People often stop by just to look or ask about fixing something. We have stayed at Plot No 8 for a long time now. Across the road, the sea gives us a nice view from the doorway. This is just a small place where we handle gold and silver items ourselves most days. Inside C6, it gets crowded because the apartment unit is not huge. We try to keep things in order. Walking down Beach Road, you can see our sign by the statue. It feels like a local spot. There is nothing fancy here, just some workbenches and old display cases. Most of our day is spent fixing things or helping someone with a gift. Traffic noise is constant outside. But the beach breeze helps when it gets hot in the summer. Usually, we leave the doors open for air. Some old stools are there for people while they wait. The floor looks a bit worn from everyone walking on it. We do our work and then we go home. That is about it for us. Sometimes the salt in the air makes the hinges squeak, so we have to oil them. It is just a regular shop.
