Our company, Apex Knowledge Technology Pvt Ltd, is located in Flat No 303 of the Balaji Residency building. This is in Shakti Nagar, which is part of the R K Puram area in Secunderabad. We’ve been working out of this apartment-style office for a bit. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done. Our focus is on the technology side of things, specifically dealing with knowledge systems and software. Most of our day is spent in front of monitors, coding or troubleshooting issues. It’s not the kind of job where you see a lot of people walking in off the street, as most of our work is done online or over the phone. The office has that lived-in feel, with wires running along the floor and coffee mugs sitting on every desk. Shakti Nagar is a nice area, and Balaji Residency is easy enough for our visitors to find if they have the flat number. We aren't a massive tech giant with a gym and a cafeteria. We just have our desks and a small kitchen area where we eat lunch together. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in this part of town. We keep things simple and try to solve the tech problems that come our way without making a big fuss about it. It’s good work and it keeps our brains busy throughout the week.
