Aparna Cloth Store

We are located at Shop No 7 in Yamnampet, right in the Ghatkesar Mandal area. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a good variety of cloth on the shelves. Most days are spent unrolling bundles of fabric for ladies who come in looking for something specific for a wedding or just a new dress. It can get quite crowded in here on the weekends when everyone from the R R District seems to show up at once. We’ve got all kinds of materials, from simple cottons to some of the brighter synthetics. Sometimes we run out of space to store everything, so you might see rolls of cloth leaning against the walls. We don't have fancy displays or those big mannequins you see in the malls in Hyderabad. It’s just us and the fabric. We like talking to the customers and hearing about what they’re planning to sew. Some people have been coming to us since we first opened our doors. We know most of the families around here by name. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the new stock arrives and we have to lug everything inside. We just try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s an honest living, and we’re happy to be part of the community here in Yamnampet. If you need a bit of cloth for something, we’re usually here from morning until late evening.
